Kaoru Akimoto - Dress Down (1986 • Invitation)

We're heading to Japan for our next selection starting with this smooth yet punchy jam from Kaoru Akimoto. More to come.

Pleasure - Spread That Feelin' (All Around) (1980, LP Special Things)

Continuing on my 'bass line from heaven' exploration. A groove to end all from the inimitable 1980 Pleasure classic - Special Things.

Plaisir - Visa Pour Aimer (1984 • Flash Night)

A fantastic boogie gem from France which happens to be the original version of Titus Williams' hit from the same year, Give Me Some Love Tonight.

Earth Wind & Fire - In The Stone • The Reflex Re√ision (2014)

The Reflex is at it again with another excellent revision of a classic, this time turning his hand to the lead track from Earth Wind & Fire's fantastic 1979 LP. We'll certainly be picking this one up when it's available.

Atmosphere - Dancing In Outta Space (MAW Lunar Mix Part 1) (1997)

The Imperial Wonders - Love Me To The Music (1983/ Royal Essence)

All of their late 70's releases are pure vintage as is this
rare 80's cut from The Imperial Wonders.

Melba Moore - You Stepped Into My life (1978/Epic)

Wonderful 1978 classic from Melba Moore.
Pure extended version DJ joy.
